On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… 3 interchangeable heat press platens!
My true love knows that I get a wide variety of requests in my shop. That’s why he gave me three interchangeable platens for my heat press. Now I can easily fill any order that comes my way, from T-shirts to duffel bags to sweatpants legs – and even extra-large grilled cheese sandwiches.
The platens come in a variety of sizes that can accommodate any job. There are three standard platens that fit a number of the Hotronix® heat press machines, four cap platens for the Hotronix or MAXX™ Cap Presses, or custom platens can be made to fit my needs.
It’s easy to change the platens, too, even in the middle of a job. That’s great for someone like me, who can barely keep her head screwed on. Now I can go straight from decorating baby clothes to warming up a pizza for dinner (always use a cover sheet!) – all on the same machine.
It would be great if everything in life was interchangeable. For example, an interchangeable true love would come in handy from time to time, especially when he won’t ask for directions. Sadly, I can’t tailor my true love to make life easier, but now I can change my heat press, and that beats three French hens any day.
