It’s 90 degrees out and I just walked a mile back from the car repair shop. Sure, this is the third time in the past month that I’ve had to have my car in the shop, but the old green monster still gets me to where I’m going (almost all of the time) and, all things considered, isn’t in that bad a shape. But even though it still “works,” it sure would be nice to have a new car. I’d love to have one that looks good (certainly better than a 15-year-old minivan) and has all the bells and whistles (or at least working A/C and no mystery leaks). Sure, the new car wouldn’t be quite as familiar and I might have to make some adjustments, but the improved look and features would be well worth the effort.
