The baseball season officially started this week, which means that kids and adult leagues will be taking the field soon. If you’ve been busy fulfilling league orders with your heat press, you already know that. To celebrate Opening Day, Stahls’ held an employee appreciation luncheon.
Employees, who were encouraged to wear gear supporting the hometown Detroit Tigers, were treated to coney islands, spinach pie, and greek salad. For the unitiated, coney islands are a Detroit staple featuring hot dogs covered in chili, mustard, and onions. While everyone else was celebrating baseball’s opening, I was opening my mouth to insert more delicious coneys.
The coneys, provided by National™ Coney Island, made the event not only an employee appreciation day, but a hot dog appreciation day as well, and were enjoyed by all.
