Whether you’re a country fan or a rock fan, you know that there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the Country Music Television Awards (CMT Awards). From the awards to the performances to the outfits the show put on by CMT was exciting from start to finish.
Kid Rock hosted and started the show with a rousing rendition of “Cowboy” and he was joined on stage by several well known country artists. The big talk of the night though was the amazing logo and design on the back of Kid Rock’s leather jacket. The appliqué for the jacket was produced by Stahls’ ID Direct.
The Made In Detroit clothing company features the well known Made In Detroit logo, which Kid Rock is often seen wearing. In honor of the CMT awards, Made In Detroit created a very special Made In Nashville logo which portrayed a cowboy holding a guitar in the middle. The logo can be viewed at MadeInDetroit.com under the Nashville tab.
Stahls’ ID digitized the artwork and cut it out of leather. The leather which had been dyed black and stamped to look like an alligator pattern was sent to Stahls’ ID from Made In Detroit. Stahls’ ID created a matching sew-file disk that allowed it to be sewn onto the jacket. Additional embellishments were added around the design. The final version was amazing and truly deserved an award buckle as well.
