What Is the Quick Snap?
The Quick Snap is an all-new bottom platen cover designed specifically for the 360IQ® hat press. It snaps easily onto your existing machine, instantly upgrading your press to accommodate virtually any hat style.
No more stuffing structured hats or forcing fits just to get a clean application. The Quick Snap creates a better interface between the hat and platen, allowing caps to sit naturally and securely during pressing.
The Quick Snap is engineered specifically for applying LIQUID 3D® emblems and is highly recommended for those applications to ensure proper contact, pressure, and durability.
How to Install the Quick Snap on Your 360IQ™
- Turn off your machine and allow it to cool completely.
- Grasp the existing lower platen cover at one corner and gently pull it away to remove it.
- If any residual silicone remains on the platen, follow the cleaning instructions below before continuing.
- Place the Quick Snap cover onto the lower platen, making sure the edges are fully seated around the entire platen.
- Power on your hat press, and you’re ready to decorate.
Cleaning Instructions for Residual Silicone
- Turn on your heat press and set the bottom platen temperature to 40°F. Allow it to heat for approximately 30 minutes.
- Turn the press off, then gently scrape away any remaining silicone using a non-metallic scraper.
- Spray a general-purpose grease cleaner onto the heated surface.
- Remove remaining residue by wiping with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
