Back in Vancouver in 2010, hockey fans were treated to a dramatic Olympic hockey tournament. The upstart US team, which entered the tournament with low expectations, was led to the gold medal game by tournament MVP Ryan Miller’s spectacular goaltending.

The US is seeking to build upon 2010’s success as the 2014 hockey tournament begins today in Sochi, Russia. Nike® has designed new uniforms for each team in the tournament, with the US squad’s jersey featuring an enlarged USA hockey crest on the front and tone-on-tone blue stars on the shoulders.

Fans are sure to want to show their patriotism with replica jerseys. Stahls’ is now offering player name and number kits for US Olympic hockey jerseys.  Each kit includes the name, number, and captain’s C or alternate’s A (where applicable) for each American player. The twill letters and numbers can be set in place with a heat press, but must be sewn for permanent application.

To order a kit, visit Stahls’ official NHL® player name and number kit page, select “2014 US Olympic” in the Team Name field, then jersey type (navy or white), and the player kit you wish to order.

Now your customers can wear their favorite player’s jersey while cheering the team on to another shot at the gold medal.

If you’d like to see what the kit looks like, below is a representation of the actual letter and number font used in the US Olympic Kit (click to enlarge the image).

  1. Hi,

I was wondering if you sold jersey lettering kits for the 2002 edition of the USA jersey, and/or if you sell 2006 edition of the Sweden jersey? Thanks
