Finally, my long wait is over – I get to write a blog post tribute to Gordon Lightfoot! I never thought I could act this way, and I’ve got to say that I’m thrilled about it. I’m Not Saying I’m an expert on the great white north, but from my spot in a musty old hall in Detroit, I certainly consider him a Canadian treasure. That makes his songs a perfect backdrop for discussing this year’s Stahls’ Canada National Tour.
During May and June, the Stahls’ Canada team will be traveling over the mountains and over the plains, visiting cities from the eastern shore to the western strand to show off just how beneficial heat printing can be to businesses new and old.
At each event there will be displays and demonstrations of equipment, including heat presses, print/cut machines, and our Business in a Box sign making equipment package. You’ll be able to see the convenience and ease of use of Hotronix® heat presses, and how innovations like Threadability™, available in the Heat Press Caddie™, help you easily decorate garments on the front, back, sides, sleeves, or wherever else you might need to, meaning your transfers will never be Cold on the Shoulder.
We’ll also have examples and samples of twill, CAD-CUT® heat transfer materials, Custom Embroidered Patches, Any Word. Any Way.™ custom lettering, and much more.
As if all this wasn’t enough, there will even be prizes, giveaways, and special offers, including 10% off all orders (excluding twill and equipment) and free ground shipping on heat presses.
After a successful kick-off this April at the Grafik’Art Trade Show in Montréal, the tour proper begins May 27th in Halifax. On the 29th we’ll be in Quebec City, then on to Ottawa on May 30th and 31st.
June 12th brings a special event for the Tour. The skyline of Toronto is something you’ll get onto, especially after attending our Toronto event. In addition to the products being displayed at the other Tour stops, we’ll have the full line of Hotronix heat presses, including the new Table Top Air Fusion™, as well as Roland® print/cut systems and Drytac™ laminators.
But the extras aren’t limited to equipment. We’ll also have presentations from Stahls’ heat printing and garment decoration experts, including CAD-CUT Direct General Manager Josh Ellsworth, artwork expert Dane Clement of Great Dane Graphics, and Hotronix General Manager Ben Robinson.
The event is an all-day affair, stretching from the Early Morning Rain until Sundown (actually, from 9 am to 5 pm), and includes lunch. Take advantage of our special offer and receive half off of the $20 admission price by registering before May 15th. Even if you ain’t got a penny for Cotton Jenny, you can surely afford $10 for an event you won’t want to miss.
After Toronto, it’s back on the road with a rim dim diddy and a rum dum dum, as the western leg of the Tour kicks off June 19th and 20th in Beautiful Vancouver, BC. We’ll then be Alberta Bound, traveling to Calgary on June 21st, then up a Carefree Highway to Edmonton on June 24th and 25th.
Following stops in Regina on June 26th and Winnipeg on the 27th, our intrepid team will return home and be safely in their beds again when the sunbeams kiss the sky.
All tour stops except the Toronto event are free to attend. So, whether you’re a seasoned heat printer, a sign making rookie, or just A Painter Passing Through, press play on your copy of Gord’s Gold and set out to meet the Stahls’ Canada team as we take our show on the road. If old Dan was with us still, I know he’d come around.
Learn more or sign up to attend on our National Tour page.
