Chicago’s Kane Leads NHL Jersey Sales

by Matt DeLaere, Marketing

The NHL® season is now a month old, and jersey sales statistics are in for the month of October. Jersey sales on NHL.com were led by Chicago Blackhawks forward (and defending Stanley Cup champion) Patrick Kane, who finished fifth in jersey sales last season.

Second place on the list belongs to Kane’s Blackhawks teammate, Jonathan Toews, who led all players in jersey sales last season. Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings, and, in a bit of a surprise, Tim Thomas of the Florida Panthers round out the top five.

If you personalize jerseys, remember that Stahls’ sells NHL®/NHLPA® Player Kits. Each kit contains a twill name and number, along with an optional captain’s “C” or alternate’s “A” and optional name bar.  Letters and numbers can be set in place with a heat press, but must be sewn for permanent application.

If your customer is looking for their favorite player’s jersey, you can simply order an Official NHL/NHLPA kit and choose the team, jersey type (home, away, alternate, Winter Classic, etc.), and player number. For customers looking to put their own name on a jersey, choose a Personalized NHL/NHLPA kit.
