Q. What are CAD-PRINTZ?
A. CAD-PRINTZ is brand of full color digital transfers offered by Stahls’ ID Direct and Transfer Express. We take your multi-color design and print it in full color. With CAD-PRINTZ, we print crisp, clean images that pop with amazingly fine detail! It’s your logo in HD!
Q. What is the printing process?
A. Using large format printers, like a Roland® VersaCAMM, we print with solvent based inks on to various digital print media. Your design is cut from the media, masked and ready for heat application in the form of a heat transfer. All you need is a heat press to start decorating!
Q. What kind of media is available?
A. There are several types of digital print media, the most popular is Solutions Opaque. This media has good stretch and rebound, and great opacity for application on to dark colored garments. It has a special adhesive, called STX². Actually, the entire line of Solutions™ brand media has STX², making them suitable for application to a large variety of fabrics, including leather, neoprene, and nylon.
