**Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Second Day of Heat Printing published before the first day. So, without further ado (and better late than never)…
My true love knows that I’m old-fashioned and that I love Christmas, so this year she decided to get me each of the gifts in “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” I’m not sure if it’s the economy, weather conditions, or what, but partridges and pear trees are each in short supply this year, let alone a partridge in a pear tree (I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that getting the partridge in the pear tree is the easy part – the difficulty comes in keeping him there). She also searched and searched for six geese a-laying but came up with nothing but a big fat goose egg.
She’s a resourceful lass, though, that true love of mine, and she knows that Stahls’ is never far from my heart. So she substituted another of my loves – heat printing. Now, if you don’t mind, I’d like to share her 12 Days of Heat Printing with you.
On the first day of heat printing, my true love gave to me the #1 athletic lettering material in the world, Stahls’ Thermo-FILM®. And it’s exactly what I needed!
You see, recently I was decorating uniforms for the North Pole Dentists, reigning champions of the Elf League of Football (ELF), and was running into problems with their red jerseys bleeding through the white names and numbers. My old friend Nick (the man is a saint) suggested that I try Thermo-FILM Pre-Cut Letters and Numbers because of their abrasion resistance and reputation for stopping strike-through on brightly-colored polyester jerseys. And sure enough, the Dentists now drill into their opponents in the best-looking and most durable uniforms in the league.
In fact, the elves were so happy with their jerseys, they asked me to decorate shirts for their bowling team, the North Pole Rollers. Their logo is really quite clever – a bowling ball crashing into 10 north poles. They’re funny little guys.
To avoid dye migration causing their awesome logo to turn pink, I cut the logos with my vinyl cutter, using CAD-CUT® Thermo-FILM heat transfer material. The bowling shirts look great, the team is at the top of the league, and I’ve got loyal customers that will come back year after year. And now, thanks to my true love’s thoughtful gift, I’ll be ready for them.
