This summer, Stahls’ ID Direct™ has implemented its first internship program, with 10 college students gaining real-world experience in the heat printing industry. This is part of an ongoing series of blog posts by our interns, discussing their experiences.

Amanda brings our summer of intern blog posts to a close. |
From our first day as timid, unsure interns, until the last day for most us this past week, much growth and progress was made. We shared experiences, struggles, laughs, frustrations, food, and most of all, an opportunity to be a part of a company doing great things. We spent quite a bit of time together, and I am grateful to have met these girls, and guy! Additionally, I would like to thank all involved in making this truly a summer to remember, filled with knowledge, wisdom and great words of advice.
For people who are extremely busy, like Ted Stahl, CEO Brian Sukarukoff, Chief Marketing Officer Carleen Gray, and many other executives and managers to take time out of their days to have lunch with us students really says a lot about Stahls’.
Through this internship we were given a tremendous opportunity to gain experience in the business world. In return, I am proud that we accomplished what we set out to do by completing all of the customer profiles to help this company toward becoming even greater. Seeing first-hand how the many entities, the hierarchy, business structure, culture, and each individual work to make Stahls’ a market leader was very interesting to me. This business is truly one of a kind.
