Kids Clamor to Decorate Their Own T-Shirts with a Heat Press and Custom Transfers
By Elaine Sables
Cricket invested in a number of MAXX heat presses that they can take to the streets. They selected the MAXX brand press for its durability, portability and value. These presses are seeing more cities than some people’s luggage will in a lifetime.
Recently, one of their presses worked a gig in Sin City. Cricket sponsored a Back-to-School Fair and Movie-in-the-Park evening at Centennial Hills Park in Las Vegas. This event, featuring the animated film Planet 51 drew over 1,500 locals. In preparation, Cricket assembled their dynamic team, set up a tent near the entrance, lined up their supplies, plugged in their press and before they knew it, a crowd formed. Kids had the opportunity to customize their own free T-shirt featuring fun graphics and included the Cricket brand name on the back. The Cricket Wireless customization tent was such a hit that fans would wait as long as 45 minutes for the opportunity to design a shirt!
Cricket has found that community outreach programs such as this puts them in touch with existing and potential customers and is a fantastic way to give back to communities in an exciting way. They’ve planned for several local community-based back-to-school events this month. Visit the Cricket community to learn more.
