Last week we had a post about US Olympic hockey jersey kits available from Stahls’. Now, just in time for the elimination and medal rounds of the Olympic tournament, Team Canada jersey kits are also available.
Canada won the gold medal at the 2012 Vancouver Olympics and is attempting to repeat the feat in three newly designed sweaters: one red, one white, and a black alternate version. Each version features a center stripe with gold trim (after all, what’s the fun in winning gold if you can’t brag about it?) and a tone-on-tone maple leaf design on the shoulders. The center stripe on the red and white versions is adorned with a maple leaf (with the country’s name below) while the black version features a red stripe with the word “Canada” on the chest and a gold maple leaf on the left arm, again reminding of us of the team’s success in 2012 (and its goal in 2014).
To order a kit, visit Stahls’ official NHL® player name and number kit page, select “2014 Canada Olympic” in the Team Name dropdown menu, the jersey type (dark (red), white, or alternate (black)), and the player whose kit you’re ordering.
Each kit includes the player name and number as well as a captain’s “C” or alternate’s “A” if applicable. The letters and numbers can be set in place with a heat press, but must be sewn for permanent application.
Below is a representation of the name and number fonts included in the kit.
