TIP JAR: Here Comes the Wedding Season

by Courtney Matlick

Spring is in the air- and with that comes April showers, May flowers, and… Wedding Season?

As apparel decorators, I know it’s hard to think of anything else but baseball season this time of year but don’t miss out on the opportunities that the wedding season brings for wedding inspired tees.

In this week’s Tip Jar, we’re going to show you how easy it is to decorate a bachelorette t-shirt and open yourself up to a whole new market using only a vinyl cutter, a heat press, and heat transfer material like CAD-CUT® Glitter Flake and Fashion Film™ Metallic II.

Is your business “going to the chapel”? I hope so.  Let me know what wedding inspired ideas you come up with!

  1. Thanks for this little reminder that I can be using these great products to decorate for the bridal market. I tend to focus on the embroidery side of things and this would be great to add to the line of bridal shirts I already do.

  2. Thanks for the comment Tina. We’re so glad this inspired you! We’d love for you to share some of your creations!

  3. I did a “Buddies of the Bride, Panama City Road Trip” shirt for my step daughter and her friends using regular thermoflex. This was before all of the great looking cad cut materials available now.
I also did a Pilot, Co-pilot, and Crew shirts for the wedding party to wear at the reception where the theme was aviation.
