The 8th Day of Heat Printing: Any Word. Any Way.

by Matt DeLaere, Marketing

On the eighth day of heat printing, my true love gave to me 8 material options for Stahls’ Any Word. Any Way.™, the features of 7 vinyl cutters and print/cut systems, 6 new Pre-Cut Number fonts, five uniform decoration videos, four Fusion™ heat presses, three cover sheets, two Heat Press Caddie™ Shelves, and the #1 athletic lettering material in the world.

Between sports uniforms, spirit wear, and corporate apparel, I decorate with a lot of text. Stahl’s Any Word. Any Way.™ text templates make it easy to create cool, unique garments.  And whether I need to embroider the design or just apply it with a heat press, one of the eight options will do the trick – I just choose the size, font, layout, and colors!

CAD-CUT® Materials – No sewing needed!  I can select from a wide variety of Stahls’ CAD-CUT heat transfer materials, including textured materials like Flock and special effect materials like Glitter Flake™ and Hologram.

Each color of the design arrives pre-aligned on a carrier, reducing my setup time.  This works great for multi-color designs – I just line up each layer and heat print instead of having to align each individual letter.

SimStitch® designs look like they’ve been sewn, but they apply easily with just a heat press. Made from Stahls’ Perma-TWILL®, SimStitch features a zig-zag stitch pattern that makes it look like it’s been embroidered, providing a classic look without the labor.

Sublimated SimStitch® – Just like regular SimStitch, this material has a zig-zag stitch pattern that simulates embroidery, but requires no sewing. Instead of being a solid color, the material is sublimated with one of several available patterns, including animal prints, camouflage, and plaid, among others. It’s a great way to provide a unique look without the time or labor associated with embroidery.

Standard – This classic offering is available in sew and no-sew materials, including Poly-TWILL™, Thermo-FILM®, popular Boxercraft® patterns, and metallic appliqué fabrics. Words/letters are delivered in separate pieces for custom layout.

Distressed Appliqué and Flock allow me to create text designs in the popular vintage-looking distressed style. I can choose materials like CAD-CUT Flock that apply with just a heat press, or materials that have to be embroidered. Plus, I get to choose (from 6 options) just how distressed I want the design to be.

Sublimated Twill Appliqué is available in 11 fill patterns and several color options. So I can I have text printed with pink camouflage, a red, black, and white plaid, or with tiger stripes.   I can simply apply the design with a heat press or embroider a border around the words to give them the look of classic embroidery.

Kiss Cut® Appliqué foreground and background layers are pre-assembled (the foreground is tacked down to the background with pressure sensitive adhesive), saving me the time of aligning each layer before sewing. I can simply heat press the design to the garment, then sew it for final application.

Kiss Cut® Distressed is the same concept as Kiss Cut Appliqué, but is available in the distressed style that is so hot these days.  The layers come pre-assembled, with six different levels of distress from which to choose.

Each of these material options is available in a wide selection of block and script fonts, layout options like arched, slanted, italic, and more, and with or without a tail.  They can even be ordered for split front garments, like baseball and softball jerseys.

So you see, Any Word. Any Way. saves me time and labor when applying custom text. I’m not sure my true love realizes just how much she just helped me.
