We do a lot of planning to get ready for our photo shoots each year. While it sounds glamorous and fun, it’s also a lot of work. Garments must be designed, locations determined, and models hired. While we try to make sure it all runs smoothly, there are always things that can’t be controlled.
This year, we had a few challenges – misplaced garments, parking tickets, missing models, and a terrible thunderstorm which forced us to cancel an entire day of shooting and rebook several models. We’ll be back at in September to wrap it all up with two more days of shooting.
Since it’s always fun to check out behind the scene action or outtakes from your favorite show, we invited the Stahls’ ID Direct video team to join us during our shoot at Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores, MI. We had lots of sports shots this year and we were lucky enough to get permission from John Hartley the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director to use the school for the entire day. We hit the gym, the football field, the track, and various other locations around the school.
